As announced by the respective authorities in Singapore and Malaysia, we are expecting vaccinated travel lane (VTL) for land transport to commence soon for both Singaporeans and Malaysians who have been apart from their families since COVID-19 started.
A trial has been conducted at the Johor-Singapore Causeway on 23 Nov 2021 to test new protocols under the reopening of land borders and it is expected to reopen around the same time as the VTL for air travel. It is expected to have a initial quota of about 1,440 people to travel through the land checkpoint in the first week of the implementation of the land VTL.
With the start of allowing travellers to commute between the two country we hope that bus transport service will resume for workers to be able to work in either country.
